Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel Restaurant & SPA - Adults Only

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and in the perfect location. Right in front of the hotel is the stunning Esmeralda Cenote, with incredibly clear, crystal-clear water. Just walk out to the deck and you can jump right into the lagoon for a refreshing swim. The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything we tried was delicious, so there’s no need to leave the hotel to look for restaurants in town. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful, and the entire experience was peaceful, relaxing, and unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to come back! 10/10 – Highly recommended!

Courteous staff and well maintained property. The rooms are nice and the location is Lagoon Front. The Breakfast was very good despite a small selection. The Bacalar Lagoon is a must see and I would highly recommend the Lagoon water tour. Overall, we would definitely return to the Cristalino.

We recently stayed for a week at the Cristalino Hotel. It's a very nice place. Super clean, great food, and great staff. As always there will be positives and negatives. Positive: The room was clean, the grounds were clean, the view was great, the staff was great and met all of our needs, the food at the restaurant was excellent. Negatives: You have to be careful for all the additional charges. They have a Nespresso coffee maker in the room, the first 2 coffee pods are free. after the first 2, they charge you. There is a mini refrigerator in the room stocked with beer, wine, water, etc. There is a note near the frig that if you move their contents out of the frig to put your personal items in there, they will charge you for the items that you removed, even though you don't consume them. I think what really upset me was that we traveled from the USA. Between driving and the airport layovers, we spent 30 hours with no sleep. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. Check in was at 3:00 p.m. I asked for an early check in and was told we could check in early at 1:00 p.m., but the additional fee was really expensive. We decided just to wait. They would not let us check in until 2:58 p.m. They made us wait until almost exactly 3:00 to let us check in. We we so tired after 30 hours of traveling with no sleep and they made us wait until 3:00 p.m. to check in. Almost every hotel I've stayed in, they would let me check in an hour or two early at no charge. Cristalino made until the wait.

Very friendly staff. We loved the women at the front desk and Esperanza and Ciel in the restaurant. Housekeeping and the turn down service added to an enjoyable experience behind the scenes.
