7 Apple Hotel Guruvayur

It is one of the better hotels located very close to the temple. There is a walk of 10 minutes to get to the hotel but thats reasonable. Located very close to the railway station from what I could see. The staff was friendly and helpful- They served with a smile.

The kettle in the room was not working and when I asked a replacement I was given a kettle that was not very clean at the bottom. Then I gave up on the idea as I had to head out. The bath towels had holes in them and looked worn out although cleaned. Since I was not there for too long it was ok. But the building looks new and there is a great potential to make it top notch and writing this review only for them to pay attention. The location while it is close is not in the main temple road and is slightly off but if you are walking in a group it should be ok

I had requested a hair dryer, but unfortunately, it was never provided. Also, while checking out, I asked for assistance with my luggage, but no one came to help. I hope the hotel can improve its responsiveness to guest requests.

The breakfast is limited and fine for the day but would have preferred a better spread for the cost paid towards the rooms. The dinner and lunch options are limited as well since South Indian options are limited as well. So overall food is average but the rest were ok.

Food, rooms were fine but it looked like it was an old building renovated but still there are areas where renovation has been ignored. The lifts smell like it is hardly used. We had to go out for dinner since the options were not enough and the breakfast options were less which did not justify the price paid.
