Location is nice on the south end of the island, two blocks from the beach, close to restaurants, shopping, etc. House interior was clean with plenty of towels. Having the pool was nice for the kids to jump in and relax a bit. Has plenty of space with 3 queen beds, 4 bunks and all the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Also the garage space was nice to pull the car out of the sun. Air conditioning definitely worked well (which was important as it was very hot out). Having laundry was key and the kitchen had plenty of materials if you want to cook. Screen door was broken when we showed up and a they sent a repairman out early the next day on Sunday (we showed up late in the day on Saturday)The not as good - pictures with listing are at least several years old, the landscaping is overgrown and the house and pool are in need of a refresh. The backyard is not grass but turf. None of this is all that problematic for a beach cottage, but don't expect exactly what you see in the pictures. The vent in the guest bath ceiling had mold around it. Only came with 2 rolls of toilet paper and we had to call and request more. The WiFi was not good - if you need to connect for any work activity, better have your own hotspot. WiFi also was very spotty trying to use the TV to watch Netflix or other apps on the Roku TV when we sat down to relax at the end of the night. Overall, a positive experience and would recommend if you are looking for an affordable beach pad that gives you the basics that could use some TLC. Just temper your expectations a bit based on the photos.

We had a wonderful time at Sunrise Cottage! The house was spacious and very near the beach. Lots of space for parking. Great private pool! We will be back again!

We got to the property and everything was great. The next day we had a family emergency and had to leave. Our nephew was killed in a tragic accident. We contacted the owners of the property to let them know what happened but would not refund our money. I understand there are policies but this was a tragic unforseen accident. This was something we never saw coming. Not sure if I will ever use them again.

Reviewer Comments: If the weather was warm and sunny,our family could have overlooked the electronic setup for the cable.We arrived at the house and we had not yet received our code for the house.I called the number provided and got an answering machine.I left my message and within a few minutes ,I had the code to get into the was nice to have a starter package (toiletries, paper products,etc).Our complaint was you could not change the channel or operate tv according to directions provided.We called the number provided.They did not have an answer and was going to call owner and would call us back.They never called husband knew they wouldn't because there was not a work around.With it cold and rainy,my mother's rheumatoid arthritis kept her at the house most of the operate the tv ,you had to have two people.One would call out directions while the other person went into the first bedroom's closet located behind the wall the tv hung on , to push the corresponding is not that I wouldn't recommend to stay here,but was frustrated and disappointed with price and communication.

The pool was dirty when we arrived and the lawn was very tall, thus mosquitoes were eating us up around the pool. Also, the house needs some maintenance. The front door handles were broken off. All the garbage bins were full. The TV controls were awkward (the controls were located in the guest bedroom closet). The rugs were stained, and unless you have a Prius, only one of the three garages will hold your car. Overall, it would be a great place for college kids, or senior trippers. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay as the house is cozy and has everything we needed, however we thought that more attention could be dedicated to clean and refurbish the outdoor spaces that we found with layers of dust.....obviously it was totally neglected by the cleaning team (e.g. a rubbish can outdoor was full of rubbish from previous guests). Also little repairs here and there needs to be done (e.g. mosquito net in the porch) bottom of the pool, larger table as it only seats 4 people....the room in the basement is nice but very very humid as that space is not really for a bedroom.

They sent a maintenance man who arrived to check it out and provide a small temporary fridge until the temp got back to normal. The main thing hat I was upset with was that the property was dirty. The screened porch was extremely dirty and had broken decorative items and things that were rusty and piled in the corner. Underneath the house in the sitting area there were wasp nests and the area was extremely junky and there were old broken toys and bikes piled in the corner. There were just so many things that needed attention in this house. I am not sure who the cleaning lady was but items in the house had layers of dust on them!!! The only thing that saved our stay was the pool. It was very nice.

All the cloth furniture and carpet were filthy. The entire backyard is weeds (no grass as pictured). The TV never worked because there was no roku remote. After calling we were told someone would be handling it and that never happened. We had a couple rainy days and some kids so a TV would have been nice for those occasions.There were large rips in the screens on the screen porch (kind of defeats the purpose). We were only provided one cheap, dingy bath towel and wash cloth per person. No beach towels provided. Three of the four bedroom closets were not usable due to them being filled with junk and no other place to put your luggage or clothes other than on the floor in the small bedrooms. Garage area that was turned into sitting area and walk through was filled with left over junk from previous guests I suppose. (There were a few usable items like folding beach chairs but that was about it).I have stayed in homes from VRBO on many, many occasions and have had wonderful homes as pictured and described. I have even stayed in homes in 3rd world countries that were much nicer than this home. I would recommend not renting from Lucky Savannah based on this experience.The only positives for the house would be the location and we always had hot water.

We had a total of 8 guests in the home and we were all comfortable. The home is a short walk of bike ride to the shops, most restaraunts, the beach and the pier. The only disappointing things for us were the issues that we had with the television working, which was promptly handled by the leasing company when I called. We were also a little disappointed in the pool size. It is pretty small pool.

The property was everything if not more than described. We enjoyed the comfortable porch during the cooler times of the day and the refreshing pool after time at the beach. The inside space was clean and neat and well-stocked. The television and all other items were in good working condition. We were surprised to find additional space under the house to hang out and also pool toys, beach chairs, etc. The location was ideal - a short walk to the beach, the Tybee Island Marine Center and pier, and restaurants and shopping. We never used our cars. We were very pleased with our choice and the service we received from the manager in answering a few questions before our stay. We highly recommend Sunrise House.

There were also a lot of shops and restaurants, all withing walking distance. We didn't need to use our car except when we went into Savannah. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach . WE loved having the pool to hang out at after a couple hours at the beach. The screened porch was wonderful in the early morning drinking coffee or late night . The only thing was when you first arrive and you walk upstairs to get into the house the porch could use a little updating. Fake plants were damage. Pieces lying on the floor in corner. It was dusty and there was to much clutter, which made us a little worried about what the inside looked like. We were pleasantly surprised when we wlaked inside the house was pretty. Clean and well decorated. We were all so happy and very comfortable. I would definitely rent this house again. Thank you

We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. While the swimming pool appears small from the photos, it was perfect for the kids to play in after a busy day at the beach. The house is perfectly located to walk or bike to the beach and to various restaurants in the area. My requests for improvement are minor: the kitchen could be better equipped, a mat for the shower would be nice as it was quite slippery for our elderly parents and more hand towels would have been appreciated. None of these requests were worth bothering the rental staff for and we were otherwise very pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

The rooms smelled musty as if the house had been closed up for awhile and was not ready for guests. The pillow sham had make up on it. There were large stains on the carpets and rugs. There was a window air conditioning unit in the downstairs bedroom, but no outlet to plug it in. No outlets for the lamps downstairs. No curtain on the door window downstairs. Curtains didn't fit in a room upstairs. Found a roach on the bed down stairs. Definitely would not recommend this property.

Booked this last minute for a girls family getaway. We chose this property for the private heated pool. It did not disappoint! We walked almost everywhere because we were so close to everything, yet nestled on a little side street. Plenty of room and great outdoor space! Other than needing a little cleaning of the floors and under furniture, this place was perfect for us! Will def be back.
