Hotel Marta - 1950’s architecture in Zurich’s vibrant old town, near main station

The hotel was super convenient and the staff was awesome! The room was small and had limited amenities. Breakfast room was clean and comfortable and the food was quite good.

A renovated old building centrally located. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nothing available in rooms, no TV, no kettle, no fridge even no air conditioning! This is a problem for summer time. They organized amenities at lobby, free tea and coffee, cold drinking water, fridge and microwave oven for shared use, free ice cream, all ok. But there is no solution for air conditioning. There is a very popular bar, very close to hotel entrance. That means it’s always very noisy at night. A negative point for families.

Great location! Good breakfast. Close to train station and Old Town Zurich. The only thing is that it does not have air conditioning and it was hard to sleep since the room was hot and humid.

Nothing the hotel can do about it, but the entire street in front of the hotel is under construction. Looks like it will be going on for a while. Our Uber driver didn't know where to drop us off when we first arrived. The hotel should tell people to have their taxi or Uber drop them off at the nearby Swoss Chocolate Hotel so you don't have to drag your luggage as far. Hotel was nice, rooms a bit small, but clean. Also it was noisy at night - bar across the street had loud patrons outside, well past midnight. We wanted to leave the windows open because it was nice out, but it was too noisy - then our room got very hot. We used the fan to cool it off.
