Bushmills Townhouse

Great location in the heart of Bushmills. Our room was perfect for a romantic retreat with a comfy four poster bed and the most fantastic copper bath. The weather was good so it was lovely to have access to the courtyard where we sat outside to eat our breakfast.

It felt odd to walk through the restaurant to go to and from our room. Coming out of our room we were greeted by a large group of people sitting round a table looking at us. Was a bit odd. The poor quality black sofa, rug and table were out of keeping with the rest of the decor which was rustic and appealing.

Really spacious suite and comfortable bed. Nice lounge area for a drink.

Nothing we didn't like but some suggestions to improve things: A kettle would be nice, tea just doesn't taste the same with hot water out of a Nespresso machine. Bit of a drain/sewer smell in the apartment. Some more detailed instructions for getting back in after the restaurant has closed. "Just go through the door and out onto the street" maybe replaced with "turn right and go round the corner into what looks like someone's back yard, open the wooden gate and turn right again" Poached eggs should be runny not hard.

The staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast was delicious. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent location for exploring the north coast of Ireland.

Beautiful decor. Very clean and comfortable
