This is a great location - easy walking to anywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

A couple things about this place: 1. The amount of bedrooms and kitchen space is accurate to the listing. The four bedroom space has a dining area with a table and television (but no living room area). The two bedroom space has a living room area with a futon style sofa and television (but no seating area for dining), which is ok. This is NYC and spaces are small. 2. We were traveling with two separate family parties and two small children, so I wish the check in process was more transparent. We weren't told until just before the trip that check-in was at 4 p.m. so for our flights getting in that morning...waiting until 4 p.m. to have a home base was not ideal. It also seems like kind of a rip off for that first night stay because you can't make the most of your first day with such a late check-in. They DID allow us to drop our bags off at the location at noon while the cleaning people were there. 3. The shower in the two bedroom place has a broken handle so the water is either lukewarm or scalding and it is pretty challenging to get it anywhere in between those. I don't think hotels have that issue. For the price, I would not stay in this vrbo again. The location is great, but there are hotels locally as well that I feel would have been more comfortable and had more responsive staff.

I booked this for my family; they loved the place & location. The process was smooth & host was on top of everything. I would book this again. Thank you kindly !

While the apartment was in a great location, the listing failed to mention a very important detail: this is actually TWO SEPARATE UNITS. We were traveling with a small group of students and two chaperones, and we always message hosts before booking to confirm that a property will work well for our group. At no point was it disclosed that the accommodations were split into two units. There were also several maintenance issues during our stay, including water leaking from the unit above and a broken shower door. Communication with the host was slow, and we were later told that our messages had been sent to spam. One of the first messages we received from the host included instructions that if other residents in the building asked who we were, we should say we were the host's friends. This felt deceptive and was especially uncomfortable given that we were traveling with students and strive to model honesty and integrity in the values we teach every day. When we first arrived, both units had a noticeable stale kitty-litter smell, although it improved after we settled in and aired the spaces out. It may simply have been due to the units being closed up without ventilation. The biggest issue for our group, however, was the layout. With 10 people, there was no common space where we could all gather together, which created a significant challenge throughout our stay.
