Great location, affordable, good internet, aircon quickly makes the room cool, friendly and attentive staff, even accepted early check in when asked.

The toilet seat in the shared bathroom has black mold and needs replacing. If you're sensitive to noise, know that the call to prayer from the mosque can be heard very loudly, rain makes a really loud noise due to the tin roof.

Lovely little cosy room, with access to hot water for drinks and on the doorstep of all the interesting places in Melacca Helpful staff.

Because there isn't a window, some people might not like that

Its very accessible to jonker street, the place very comfy and really clean and the owner is really nice.

Excellent location, clean room

There are just too many steps to check in and communication was incomplete, to make it worse it's hard to reach out to them and response was not timely, especially if you run it without a reception. Communication is jumping to and fro from booking.com and WhatsApp. Someone was checking out while I came, and she told me she had the same issues for checking in. Note that if check in is not sorted out, there is no way to enter. There is no way to leave your luggage either, unless you bump into the cleaner and someone checking out like I did. Even pre communicated for leaving your luggage does not help. Entrance was hard to spot. Not suitable for older folks or if you dislike fussing with details. You will probably spend a significant amount of time sorting how to check in and how to leave your luggage than enjoying malacca. Eventually they help me to get my codes to check in, but it's just too much of a hassle. Overall a poor experience.
