Swann House Historic Dupont Circle Inn

Check in was a breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is a beautifully converted mansion. An excellent breakfast was included in the price. A great place for a weekend getaway.

Charming house, pool is great to cool off after fifteen thousand or more steps

One of the most relaxing and memorable stays I’ve had in years. Swann House is every bit as charming as I remembered from 20 years ago. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and Christine, the Inn Keeper, is not only a gracious host but also a great cook—breakfast each morning was a real treat. The house is located in a lovely neighborhood, and just a short walk to Dupont Circle station, which made it easy to get around without needing a ride service. I’m so grateful we returned after all these years. I wholeheartedly recommend Swann House and look forward to coming back again.

Fantastic stay, friendly staff, nice vibe, beautiful hotel and neighborhood. The breakfast was simple, but delicious with yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs and bacon or similar options, muffins and cheese. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back.
