The inside of this hotel is beautiful! It was like stepping back in time into a simple, peaceful, less stressful way of life. Yet they had everything we needed. We stayed in The Globe suite. It was perfect! We especially enjoyed the oversized jacuzzi tub in our room. The staff was so friendly and the free hot, made to order breakfast was delicious. Grab a muffin— They are so good!

I have been staying at the Globe, on and off, for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. It is much more interesting than your typical "Hotel McMuffin" (Don't expect new and modern just interesting and comfortable.) The current, new management team has worked hard to keep it special. (The free, made to order breakfast, is just icing on the cake.)
The only caution I would raise is the lack of an elevator. I'm fine with two flights of narrow steps but if you're not, I would suggest reserving a first floor level room.
The area is also interesting with the world renowned Perkiomen School within a short 12 minute walk.
