Great hotel!

I especially liked that the hotel is located very close to the forbidden city.
The staff speaks little English which makes it a bit hard to get everything organized.
For the rest a very nice and fine hotel.

Love Grand Hotel. It has long history. I chose it due to its convenient location as well as memory as I’m from Beijing. Staffs are very helpful. Sometimes they can be too engaging. When I walk in the hall or have breakfast, I like them to leave me alone instead of being overly hospitable. I’m sure they are required to do so. But sometimes I think taking it easy is the better way.
