Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing staycation. It was my first time visiting Takayama and Fujisan Onsen. The commute was a bit long, but still manageable. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, especially since it’s adults-only, and we really enjoyed having a private onsen in our room. The food experience was also amazing and I absolutely love it.

This is a very special Ryokan, the best we had on our 2 week holiday. The food was exceptional. The staff were very attentive and made a lot of effort for us.

above and beyond anything we could have imagined, felt like much more than any hotel stay we have had. I wanted to stay here because i had never seen a place so highly rated but was on the fence because of the price and difficulty getting there but i knew it would be unforgettable! worth every penny from amenities, to experience, to staff it was all amazing
