The building had character, and it's in a good location if you want to have an aperitif and then a meal on/around Place de la Comédie; and the staff were friendly.
When I booked I had requested a quiet room so was slightly surprised to be given a room overlooking the street: the soundproofing wasn't great, but at night it was actually fairly quiet (and I wore earplugs just in case).

Clean and quiet, especially impressive given its downtown location. The area is excellent and convenient. The hotel isn’t fancy, but it is cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the air conditioning was outstanding—much appreciated during the heat wave.

Great location - close to train station and all central areas, very comfortable and nicely maintained/decorated etc. hotel. Friendly & helpful staff. Would highly recommend it.
