Beautiful place among the mountains, beautiful scape from the city and being treated as kings by very professional staff.

Excellent Pousada with wonderful views. Staff very friendly, room well equipped. Rooms at the front of the hotel have amazing views. Good buffet breakfast included. Restaurant was okay though not exceptional. Plenty of parking . Road up from town winding and cobbled but okay. Would stay again

Great room and very helpful staff. Brought us a fan to the room because the AC was turned off for the winter. The view from the room was breathtaking. Really comfy feeling at the property and cool things to see just a short hike or funicular away. The breakfasts were nice, rooms clean and comfy bedding. Would definitely go back to visit and stay. Just a chill place... especially in the off-season.

A unique property that feels like a private grand retreat of a bygone era. Breathtaking views. Enjoyed great breakfasts and dinners and appreciated the very gracious staff who made it all the more enjoyable. Lots of places to relax on site.
