Stayed here previously. Quiet room, comfy bed. Had our evening meal here, both had steak pie, very tasty and a bottle of red wine. Two bottles of water in room, plenty tea and coffee and one pack biscuits. We has booked breakfast the following morning, you pre-order the items the night before. We had a fruit yogurt and an actimel drink, orange juice. Tasty breakfast. We had toast and jam afterwards. Only downside was the filter coffee wasn't very strong.

Lovely place. Very comfortable bed and kind staff. Shower struggled a bit with water pressure in my room but it was fine and normal for old coaching inns in my experience. Breakfast was good.

I found the staff helpful. This inn is popular. servng large portions of food at very good rates. Bar is well stocked. Breakfast is worth waking up to. I'd happily go back.
Room was refreshed everyday. Towels , bedding and brew stuff.
