The entrance to check in was not obvious from the outside when we arrived and the hotel is isolated in its location. However, staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Beautiful hotel rooms are well kept and in excellent condition.
The food in the bowes incline is the best around I could have stayed at a relatives house but wanted to eat and have a drink here - delicious!

Great rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic menu in the restaurant, with BIG portions. Highly recommend
15 minutes walk to the Angle of the north if you want to stretch your legs.
