Comfortable, clean hotel at an affordable price!
I am a local, and checked in at the last moment, late at night.
The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. They had a nice free coffee-and-tea corner and a shopping corner with a variety of food and drinks right next to the front desk.
The room had plenty of towels and soap, and came with a TV and a fridge. No toothbrushes.
The $11 breakfast had a variety of foods and was delicious. Somehow the breakfast was $30 on Expedia; get it at the front desk at check-in.
The road from the Hunters Point Ave station is a little deserted at night, so I recommend walking through Thomson Ave from Court Square when alone. No problem walking from Hunters Point during the daytime.
