TownePlace Suites by Marriott Outer Banks Kill Devil Hills

Like the hotel and rooms. Staff was good too. Breakfast is not that good just 2 3 items. Overall good experience

The hotel's location is perfect, it's in the middle of many good restaurants, supermarkets, ice cream shops, bars and just a short walk from the beach.I saw some comments that the hotel was old, that it was far from the beach, etc. The hotel had the brilliant idea of building a bar and pool across the street, and that same pool access leads you to the beach. The hotel has a small gym, two swimming pools: one indoors within the hotel premises and another across the street with a bar It also has a small laundry room, ample covered and uncovered parking, and a barbecue area.Breakfast is basic and meets certain needs; there are eggs, bacon, fruit, etc. The staff takes care of replenishing what runs out. I stayed on the 3rd floor, partial ocean view, I had a decent view, the room had two queen beds, a kitchen area and a very decent overall space I honestly really enjoyed it and would stay there again. Friendly, attentive staff.

The location was fabulous. The outdoor pool located directly across the street from the hotel was awesome ! The staff were friendly. The access to the beach was perfect. We loved everything…except the breakfast. Needs: fresh fruit, more healthy options and better quality eggs and sausage. The breakfast was disappointing but overall we loved the hotel and would stay them again and would recommend it to friends.

We were pretty disappointed with the breakfast. We stayed for 5 days and the same things were served every day. Most places have pancakes or waffles and there were none of that.
