I had a lovely overnight stay. The room was excellent. It was like a row of cottages just outside the main pub. It was large and comfortable and I slept very well.
I had a lovely meal in the pub on the Saturday evening. Even though the pub was busy, when I went back to my room, there was little noise.
The following morning I had a lovely full English breakfast (see photo), which was included in the price, before setting off for a stable visit in nearby Lambourn.
They are having building work carried out, so not sure how noisy it would be during the week. But there's a nice little section in the bar, detailing their plans. Should look great when it's finished.
