Palm Cottages

The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we didn't plan to cook any meals but morning tea and coffee were much appreciated. The atmosphere was the best, quirky, retro, but not weirdly so, with peaceful colors and beautiful artwork. The patio area is stunning, a work of art. In all, if we come back to Ashland for more Shakespeare Festival fun the PALM will be our first choice for lodging! Oh, and seeing a deer calmly grazing on the wildflowers added to the fun!

Lovely, quaint motel, that has been well-maintained and is very clean. Good location, can walk to downtown Ashland, but about a mile. The only frustration I had was with a mildly unhelpful person at the reception desk. I also needed to charge my Tesla but was told the Tesla charger was only for a particular cottage that I wasn’t staying in. Access to a level 3 charger but it was in use almost the entire evening. A little frustrating.

This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.

A wonderful place to stay when in Ashland. Both creative, unique and whimsical, the property has been turned into a real find. At the same time as you enjoy the artistic side, the details work too. I mean, the beds are super comfortable, the ac works perfectly, towels are new and in great supply, the kitchen if your room has one, has everything one needs if you want to make breakfast - you name it, it’s there and has been taken care of. We loved it and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. Oh, and just a one mile easy walk to town center. Highly recommended.
