This is an outstanding property and place to stay near Durango! The accommodations are beautiful and well maintained, and I loved the garden area- even despite the drought it’s so pretty and serene. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and far exceeded expectations! I will also add, there were some contact difficulties leading up to our stay with Expedia, but the property worked it out for us to stay as planned over the July 4th weekend and honored the original rate. Just overall an absolute amazing place, and we will return next time in the area!

Just prior to our scheduled stay at Blue Lake Ranch, we were contacted by the staff and asked if we were okay with an upgrade to the "yellow house" since there was a large wedding party that was going to be dominating the main property. We accepted and we were very pleasantly surprised to have this wonderful property to ourselves. There is a balcony overlooking a pond that we enjoyed very much. The breakfast at the main property was extraordinary and delicious. The staff was always available and responded quickly and professionally to any of our questions and concerns. We would most definitely return to this property in the future when traveling to the area.
