This place is exactly why we love older motels. We seek ones that have been updated and loved. Unique with a story. There is no heavy hall doors slamming and waking you up. There is no loud TV or foot stomps above you. You simply drive up to your door and unload. No more lugging your things hundreds of feet away.
We got their 2 room suite (perfect if there is a snorer with you). The room had a fresh coat of paint, new floors and a new bath tube.

Clean, quiet, safe. Close to Florence. We checked in shortly after 4 pm on a Sunday. Seems the office doors were locked around 6 pm. Not sure how long they were locked. We just had a minor question, so it was no big deal. Just not sure how we would get checked in if we arrived at that time. Something to be aware of if booking a room there and arriving late. Otherwise, I would definitely stay there again if in the area as it was a very well maintained property.

Convenient location. Quiet and clean. Very helpful staff. Weather was cool so no a/c was needed. Best room fridge/freezer of any place we stayed.
