Carmine, our host, was HANDS DOWN, the best host we’ve ever encountered!
His place in Florence is charming, well located and he is always in the bistro he owns downstairs, or in his office on the property…it’s so nice to have the owner around. He helped w/so many questions we had!! Do yourself a favor…BOOK THIS PROPERTY! You’ll be glad you did.

Breakfast down at the cafe waa delicious and convenient. Very friendly staff. Carmine is the most hospitable owner we have encountered. He sent recommendations for restaurants and let us put our bags in the roon until it was ready so we could explore.

A true gem in the heart of Florence near all the sites and walking distance from the train station. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Eat at da Carmine bistro even if you don’t stay here. So good! Carmine was super helpful with recommendations as well.
There are stairs to the room so those with mobility issues might look elsewhere. For us, no issue.
