The arrival, checkin and checkout were the easiest we have had for some years. The room was well presented and clean with a host of facilities not common in bigger hotels. Restaurant and bar staff were very welcoming and both the food and wine menus offered a variety which were excellently prepared and presented. All in all a very relaxing weekend.

The one item that was strange in a well managed hotel was the leaking shower door. The floor towel was extremely wet, with water travelling across the floor, following a single shower. No doubt it would have covered the whole bathroom had we not rung out the floor towel and mopped up what we could. It then repeated the scenario when the second person had a shower. One situation which was not in keeping with the rest of the stay.

Really lovely accommodation. The room was warm and cosy and really tasteful decor. Comfy bed, lovely shower facilities. Would highly recommend. Really easy check in, good communication. Thank you!

We had a beautiful apartment (Granta) with two bedrooms and a lovely spacious living area. There was a huge collection of teas and Nespresso and milk in the fridge. The apartment was spotless with everything we needed but it was little touches like Classic FM playing on the Roberts radios when we came in and the great quality sheets and towels that set this place apart. Will be back.

Absolutely first class accommodation. Beautiful setting, outstanding outside seating under the most wonderful fairy lights. The room was exceptionally clean & beautifully presented. The staff were also warm, welcoming, friendly & went above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

the room was a lovely surprise. Immaculate, beautifully decorated with gorgeous bed linen. Even a tiny fridge for the fresh milk to go with the Nespresso coffee. excellent selection for breakfast to suit all tastes.

Sad that they are not open for an evening meal Monday and Tuesday, though I understand why. though we were fortunate to arrive Tuesday evening so were able to take full advantage of the cooked breakfast on Wednesday morning. There were rather a lot of flies around at the time and unfortunately the pastries and granola were uncovered which was slightly off-putting. I did suggest some net cloches to the waitress.

I booked to pay at the hotel but they took the money before we got there, which was bad if it says pay at the property what if I had an emergency and had to use that money would the hotel cancelled my booking.

Wonderful staff from housekeeping to bar staff . Very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem. The accommodation was lovely everything you needed. Nice touches coffee machine fresh milk. Good at the restaurant was delicious. Beautiful outside space to eat. Would highly recommend 10/10

Room was great ….. just a little noise from the car park and those above prevented us from giving this top marks. The price was reasonable but I think they could easily put it up by £10 and offer a breakfast.

Bigger ironing board …. even by request.

Everything was amazing during our stay. The pub is lovely and had a delicious Rose. the staff were so friendly and our room was perfect. We had everything we needed and had a delicious dinner.
