Really good location and spacious apartment

Great location, walkable distance from Ueno station and close to the Ginza line as well. Very close to Asakusa and Kappabashi shopping street. The room is very spacious and clean, quiet and peaceful. Two shared laundry machines on the ground floor, very practical. All of the amenities we needed were there. We would definitely book again!

We didn't find any drying rack for our clothes and there were limited hangers / hooks but it wasn't a problem for us as we had packed a portable clothing line.

The location was convenient, within easy walking distance of the metro. The check-in process was also very easy and straightforward.

The apartment is very small for a family of four. However, the most disappointing aspect was the cleanliness: the apartment was not clean at all and was also very humid. We did not particularly enjoy sleeping on the tatami, although we recognise that this is a matter of personal preference. Our flight was cancelled, so we contacted the host to explain the situation and ask whether the first night could be waived. Unfortunately, he did not respond to our messages. When we eventually reached him by phone, communication in English was very difficult, and he refused our request. The apartment also offers very few facilities, and some amenities were provided only for three people even though our booking was for four guests. Overall, considering the price, the limited space and facilities, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor communication with the host, I would recommend looking for other accommodation.
