Lyndale Guest House

My stay at Lyndale was great. Very welcoming, extremely clean and well cared for. My room had everything I needed. Breakfast was lovely. There's nothing I would change, really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely stay again.

Lovely welcome by the host, very friendly and excellent breakfast. Avcommodation also very conveniently located by a bus stop. Highly recommend!

We had a really lovely stay at Lyndale Guest House and would happily recommend it. The location is very convenient, with shops and everything you need close by, which made our stay really easy and enjoyable. Parking was also a big plus — hassle-free and very helpful when traveling by car. The guest house itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You can tell care is taken to make guests feel welcome, and overall it had a warm, homely feel. Breakfast was included and nicely prepared — a great way to start the day. The only tiny (and friendly!) note would be… breakfast never quite feels complete without two eggs 😄 so maybe one extra egg would make it absolutely perfect! Overall, a very pleasant stay with great value, and we’d definitely come back again 👍

Stayed for 2 nights with our 2 spaniels. Immediately made to feel really welcome on check in. Lots of information given, even where to take the dogs for a early morning toilet stop. Parking permit given for the duration of our stay, no extra charges for the dogs 🐕👍. The room was spotless, lots of storage space for clothes. The b&b is decorated very tastefully with small little quirky bits around the place. Breakfast was so good, all quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Definitely set you up for a good days walking. A nice steady 10 min walk into the centre, would recommend and hopefully return on our next short break to Ambleside.
