Maka Safari Village Resort

I booked this room for our driver and he said it was good. He liked the rooms, the owner and the local breakfast which was provided from outside.

The location is a bit far from where our party were staying and the entrance to the park, as you must cross the river to get there even though it looks closer on the map. We inadvertently took a safari from there. It was cheaper than the one offered from our own accommodation, but it was false economy as the driver did not engage with us at all or explain anything, he simply stopped when he saw something and we had to guess where and what it was. He didn't even introduce himself so I don't know his name! In all, rooms and guest house recommended and good value. Safari not recommended - at least not with this particular driver (I can't call him a 'guide' as he didn't do any guiding)

The room had air-conditioning Value for money if you can breathe mold We paid for two nights but we stayed only one

No hot water for shower. the room smell mold The garden was not tidy it was messy I wouldn't recommend a single woman to stay here since there is no woman on the premises The room was crowded with furniture No supermarket or a good restaurant nearby
