The Gilmore, an AvantStay Hotel

The staff is amazing! I love the app and seamless check in. They had complimentary snacks at the front counter that was nice. There’s a parking garage, but the parking in it is a little off. The smart tv was nice. It’s in a good area so within walking distance of a lot of good restaurants and shops. Overall it was a good stay.

So the balcony is like 6 inches of space so that was a let down. It’s kinda crammed and not spacious in the room. I didn’t much care for the sheets/cover. The fridge made noise on/off. I know they’re supposed to make noise but the one in our room would wake me up from my sleep. You can hear your neighbors. The bathroom in our room ,while clean and functional, is what brought our stay down from an 8 to a 7. The shower curtain was too little, their was no where in the shower that you could prop your legs up and shave, the sink space is tiny, their door doesn’t latch and it hits the toilet seat when opening up and gets caught on it , then lastly when you try to blow dry/curl your hair where the plug in is located your cord will constantly get caught on the toilet paper holder. The bathroom alone was very frustrating to deal with which I realize cannot be fixed in an instant but it’s just a poor design unfortunately.

Location is good. Room is clean and with kitchen. Staffs are very polite and helpful.

Everything feels new and it’s spotless everywhere. The whole experience is years ahead in technology from the moment you book until you checkout it’s an introvert’s dream lol. They have staff 24/7 and they’re great but the system is advanced technology and you can go your whole stay without talk to anyone if you choose.
