Bloom Hostel

Excellent accommodation, so good that I returned after my Acatenango hike. Everything is great, from the always friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, simple but delicious breakfast. The space has both places to work and places to rest and chill, and what I especially liked was the terrace from which I watched the Fuego eruptions in the evening.

It can be bit noisy if you are in a large room with 10 beds because that room is located in the very corner of the building so you can hear traffic from two streets, but noisy traffic is now a Central American classic and of course earplugs solve the problem.

Fantastic place to stay. Great location, away from the main street so less noisy, super clean, great staff and the female dorm I stayed had so much space. Great place to chill in te terrace. The breakfast included is very good but if you want coffee you need to pay (which doesn’t make much sense, they should do coffee even more simple). Overall I love the place. I kept extending days! The staff is suuuuuper lovely! Recommended 💯!

Me and a friend, we booked a shuttle in the hostel and at the time we were waiting it just didn’t show up. We really had to go to the final destination but after a conversation with the owner of the place we realised we couldn’t count with their help. She didn’t take any responsibility, and was very unpleasant with my friend on the phone (turn off the phone). She gave the option of staying there for one more Night for free (and really appreciate that) but the phone treatment was just something not very nice. Anyways, all good at the end as we Were being supported by the amazing and lovely person in the reception! Thanks 💜

The place is incredible, ideal for relaxing, and if you need to work, it has quite areas; it feels like being at home. The best thing is the included breakfast.

Very relaxing hostel with 2 beautiful terraces overlooking the volcanoes around Antigua. Very affordable includes a healthy breakfast. Very close to the main market of Antigua.
