The Windmoor Lodge

Clean, newly refurbished, well done in the decor, bed was comfy and perfect for one night before heading to the UP of MI!

No complaints!

Staff was accommodating to our situation.

Loved all the amenities!

The building is old but they did a wonderful job with updated rooms and cool vintage elements

The room was large and there was a nice size refrigerator (but the door to the freezer was broken). It was mostly clean and tidy except for the floor. Staff (on the phone) were polite and helpful.

In the picture they posted it appeared there was an office where you could check in but apparently that has since been turned into private quarters. You check yourself in and they send you a code to get in your room, except in our case they forgot to send us the code. We were very confused if we even had the right place. If there was a hot tub we could not find it. In the picture it looked like it was out in the yard with the pickleball. The bed was VERY firm. I didn't mind it but my husband couldn't sleep. No office, so no ice for drinks, and no breakfast there or close by. Be sure you have shoes or slippers to wear because the floor looks clean but it was very gritty. For the price we were disappointed based on the great reviews.
