Residence Kazbegi

Great location for Kazbegi, very warm and helpful staff, gorgeous design in the room with lovely curtains and furniture (photos don’t do it justice), views of mountains amazing!

Nothing we didn’t like! Some ideas for management as the hotel is developing: shower screens positioned so floor doesn’t get so wet; warmer lighting in hallway and reception to match rooms. Such a gorgeous hotel with so much potential!

The location had a lovely view on the Kazbegi mountains with every room facing the mountains, the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help us. We were a bi group taking up half the floor and although there is no formal lounging area in the reception they let us sit in the breakfast area till 11pm so we could catch up with our friend group. They even lend us a knife so we could cut the fruits we brought with us. The Rooms hotel is also a 3 minute walk away from this hotel so if you want to have dinner there it’s really nearby. The heating in the hotel and towel warmers were working which was really handy considering we were hiking in the rain and need to dry some clothes. If we needed extra towels the hotel staff provided them, bathrobes and slippers in the room were really nice too.

When the staff cleaned our room they threw away my empty face wash constrainer. It was refillable so I was hoping to reuse it, but not a big deal overall.

This was not my first visit in Kazbegi, but it was definitely the best one. I spent my honeymoon at this hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon, and the hotel also surprised us with a lovely gift and fresh flowers. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more special. The team is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They really do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and memorable. If you are planning to celebrate a special occasion in Kazbegi, I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel. You won’t regret it! Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special. I will definitely come back again!

It’s peaceful and also the view from the rooms is amazing.

There is no restaurant at the property. Apart from breakfast they don’t even serve coffee or a sandwich.
