Zhangjiajie CLOUD Zhenxi Hotel- Near Forest Park EastGate about 10 Min Walk - English Butler, Free Luggage Storage, Tour Plan -reserve tickets for various scenic spots-Self-Service Laundry,Free coffee, Chinese tea

The location was perfect, next to the river , plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and only 20-30 minute walk to the East gate which was ideal. The room was big and the hotel had a dog and it was also quiet I didn't see one other guest during my stay which was brilliant. The shower was great and they had a smart toilet but not sure this worked accordingly as it would start talking to me in the middle of the night and apart from flushing the other buttons didn't do anything.

Communication was difficult/poor and I'm not just talking about the language barrier. The guy who checked me in added me on We chat so I thought I was going to get some information on the hotel maybe where I could do laundry, booking trips etc I never got any info so not sure why they added me on that? I also noticed I had free breakfast but this again wasn't communicated where this was and times etc it wasn't evident the hotel had a restaurant. So I never had any breakfast. My room was big and comfortable but there must have been a flood above as the walls were stained and the paint was flaking off the ceiling again my whole floor was empty so not sure if all rooms were like this. Also I was sleeping after a long day hiking and locked the door next thing I know the cleaner is entering my room im not sure how as i locked the door??
