Nice and remote, beautiful setting and views

The mattress on the bed was to soft for us.

A really private, stunningly located hut. Perfect for nature lovers and those who want some peace! We watched bunnies munch the grass as we baghed in the hottub. Wildlife galore (and a really cool robo lawn mower!) The hottub needs time to warm up so get there and make it a priority! Stuff that wood and get it hot. There is no insulated top so it looses jeat quickly but we managed to stoke it and put logs on over night and it was warm still at 7am, perfect for an early morning soak! The firepit is perfect for cooking. Cant comment on the hob as I didnt use it the whole time, bacon is better over fire! The hut itself had a few minor issues, flies and a radiator that was hotter than the sun! The door really needs a blind and the fridge opens so pop a little something against the door!. The hut was quaint, tidy and clean. I really appreciated the tea. The shower was warm and the space inside was welcoming. be sure to have extra wood if you are there 2 nights, there is a lovely guy just 2 miles out. Also take a few hours to walk to the village behind the huts, a lovely parish church with the oldest wooden bell tower! Overall a lovely stay, very private and so peaceful even with 2 other huts occupied. We didnt see the host which was a shame but would come again.

The location was great!

We had a really disappointing stay! I asked for birthday decorations to be put up and even though my request was approved this wasn’t done. The hot tub took over six hours to heat up not two like the video states.The matches provided to us to start the fire had been left out and were soaking wet and tiny so really hard to use! There were two items that had been left by previous customers which begs to question how thoroughly the cabin was cleaned! One of the bedside lights was broken so again begs to question how often quality checks are done! Overall a really disappointing stay for the money paid.
