THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO BEGIN A SUMMER OR FALL FULL OF GREAT MEMORIES.'GOLDEN MILE'GETS ITS MEANING FROM A BEAUTIFUL BEACH THAT YOU CAN WALK FOR MILES AND UNBELIEVABLE SUNSETS. SOUTH HAVEN BEACHES WERE RATED ONE OF THE TOP 10 BEACHES IN THE MIDWEST BY THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE.
THE HOUSE IS LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET FROM LAKE MICHIGAN,AND BETWEEN TWO PUBLIC BEACH ACCESS THAT ARE APPROXIMATELY A HALF A BLOCK AWAY.
IT WAS RECENTLY REMODELED FOR SUMMER OR WINTER WITH A WELL STOCKED KITCHEN, A GAS FIREPLACE IN THE LIVING ROOM, AS WELL AS TWO LARGE BEDROOMS AND ONE SMALLER ONE. THE BASEMENT ALSO HAS A QUEEN SIZE BED.THERE IS A VERY SPACIOUS FINISHED BASEMENT TO PLAY GAMES OR JUST SIT BACK AND WATCH T.V. OR A MOVIE.
ALL OF THE ROOMS HAVE CEILING FANS, AS WELL AS CENTRAL AIR AND HEAT. THE FRONT PORCH IS GREAT FOR RELAXING WITH A CUP OF COFFEE, READING OR CHECKING YOUR E-MAIL; WE ARE WIRELESS. OUTSIDE, YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BARBECUE AS WELL AS A DECK THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE GARAGE. THERE IS A BACKYARD WITH A FIRE PIT AND PLENTY OF FIREWOOD, WHICH IS SHARED WITH TWO SMALLER COTTAGES LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY.
WITH VARIOUS ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA, THERE IS PLENTY TO DO. FROM BOATING, BIKING, GOLFING, WINE TASTING, ART FAIRS, AND PLENTY OF ANTIQUING THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER, PLUS OTHER ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WE ARE JUST A SHORT WALK TO THE SHOPPING DOWNTOWN OR GOING OUT TO DINNER.
WE PROVIDE OFF STREET PARKING FOR ONE CAR, WITH MORE PARKING ON THE STREET. LINENS ARE PROVIDED, BUT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS FOR THE BATH AND BEACH. WE ARE A PET AND SMOKE FREE HOUSE.

My family really enjoyed this property. Its homey, has many beds for flexibility in our sleeping arrangement, the dining table was large and paired with the kitchen counter could accommodate all of us for our family meals. We appreciated the space for relaxing and loved how easy and close it was to walk to the beach access. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Absolutely amazing experience. Close to the beach and downtown and was able to walk everywhere. House was super clean and the setup made it easy for all of us to hang out together and not be in separate rooms. Would strongly recommend and already planning another visit at this same location next year. The host made it very easy and communicated everything we needed. They were available when I reached out and made the process seamless. Highly recommend 100 out of 10. Thank you so much for the amazing opportunity to stay here.

We had a great stay. Our family along with grandparents spent the week. Furnishings were comfortable, there was plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen and dining room were great! Guests should be mindful the house is on a septic and should only use single ply TP. We brought DVDs to watch some movies, we are old school, I guess. However the DVD may be getting old as it did not seem to work with all the DVDs. Such a minor thing, really. The walk to each beach access point was so short and easy. We played at the beach during the day and went back for sunsets every evening.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and inviting. We had everything we needed and was super close to the beach to view the beautiful sunsets. The enclosed front porch was one of our favorite spots for relaxing. Highly recommend staying at Anton's Cottage house!!
