NEW POOL OPEN!!! Dive in! The new beachside pool at Pelican Beach is NOW OPEN! Just steps from the beach and Tiki bar, poolside will be your favorite place to be! The new facility boasts an expansive pool deck, zero-entry pool, large outdoor spa, bench seating inside the pool, and additional seating around the pool deck.
The addition of the new pool facilities will integrate with our current outdoor pools, spa, and Tiki Bar to create the best beachfront complexes in Destin!
Our cleaning staff is taking every precautionary measure to make your stay a clean and safe one according to CDC guidelines, both cleaning and sanitizing the unit.
This fully remodeled, 16th floor unit has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The views are beautiful from this unit. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and dolphin watching as well as watching the sunrises and sunsets. It is in a convenient location for the restaurants and shops, several of which are within walking distance. See below for a list of contents in the unit.
The living room has a 75" 4K Ultra HD TV streaming capabilities, smart DVD player, and Bluetooth stereo. Kids will love the built-in bunks with individually-mounted 24" Roku TVs and DVD players. It is a furnished one-bedroom unit directly on the beach with two bunk beds with new mattresses in the hallway and a new queen sofa sleeper with Cozy Comfort mattress. It has granite countertops in the kitchen, new bathroom vanities, flooring, and furnishings.
There is a 43" TV with streaming capabilities and a smart DVD player in the bedroom. It has a keyless-entry system so that you never have to worry about losing your key. This is "streaming-friendly" condominium offering a new level (100 Mbps) of high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access … perfect for the entire family!
The kitchen is chef-ready with everything you should need for cooking and serving a meal. Linens, dishes, cookware, microwave, coffee maker (Keurig-compatible Cuisinart), regular coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, blender, etc. are furnished.
Pelican Beach has an excellent café with pastries, coffee, pizza, sandwiches, salads, etc. and incidentals such as sunscreen, sodas, beer, and beach toys. There is also a Tiki bar, indoor/outdoor pool (heated in the winter), separate outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, and sun deck. There are laundry facilities located near unit and elevators. It has everything you need for a great stay and you never have to leave the property.
The Tiki Bar and café now deliver drinks and food to you right on the beach during the summer months!
This resort has a private beach. The cafe and tiki bar are open and you never have to leave the resort. Merlin's Pizza delivers and several restaurants are within walking distance for take out. Walmart and Winn Dixie have grocery pickup. Cafe and Tiki Bar are open March 1-October 31.
There is a beach rental company for chairs/umbrellas should you choose at guests' own expense. BEACH SERVICE IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS UNIT. Beach service is available for rental March 1-October 31.
Check out the toy box located on the beach before buying beach toys. It is a box where you can borrow sand toys, boogie boards, etc., and return them when you are finished. Or, if you purchase beach items and want to leave them behind for the enjoyment of others, you can place them in the toy box also.
With all of the amenities that the resort has, you never need to leave! But, if you do, there are lots of things within minutes that are fun to do. Harbor Walk is 2.5 miles west with restaurants, shops, children's activities, and fishing charters, jet ski rentals, etc. There is a Target, Winn Dixie, and several shops and restaurants almost directly across the street. Destin Commons is 3.7 miles to the east and is full of shops and restaurants. The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is 8 miles to the east with shops and restaurants. Sandestin and Grand Blvd. are about 9.5 miles to the east with additional upscale shopping and restaurants. It is only a 10-minute walk on the beach to the famous Back Porch restaurant.
Pelican Beach has a catering service and can set up for all of your needs. If you are having a big gathering, buffets can be set up such as barbeques and cookouts. The office has full details.
Numerous restaurants are nearby. Some of our favorites are McGuires, Fuddpuckers, Mimmos, Crackin' Up (formerly Another Broken Egg) (breakfast and lunch), Merlin's Pizza (they deliver), The Pancakery, Harbor Docks, Chan's Wine World, The Back Porch, Whalestail, Lulu's, A.J.'s, Bochamps, and Margaritaville.

NO PET POLICY: There is a strict no-pet policy at Pelican Beach Resort. A $500.00 cleaning fee will be charged to guests who bring a pet into the unit. Guests will also be removed from the property without a refund and may be be charged a $250.00 fine by the resort.
NO SMOKING POLICY: Pelican Beach Resort is a non-smoking resort (this includes vaping). NO SMOKING IN UNIT OR ON BALCONY. Smoking will be allowed at the Tiki bar and in parking areas only. A $500.00 fee will be charged to guests who smoke in the unit or on the balcony.

"To provide a pleasant and relaxed beach experience for all, the following will be enforced on our beach."
• No tents, canopies, or similar structures allowed on the beach.
• No glass bottles.
• No dogs allowed on the property, including the beach.
• Private chairs, umbrellas, and cooler set-ups are ONLY allowed behind the beach service set-ups.
• Parents are allowed on a temporary basis and for short periods of time to sit on their chair or towel while watching small children at the water’s edge. However, no coolers, beach bags, or umbrellas are allowed. Please respect the guests in the front row.
• Please keep music to a low volume at which only your immediate area can hear. Everyone likes to relax in different ways, so we ask that you’re respectful to all.
• Please avoid foul language.
• Pelican Beach Resort is a non-smoking property, including the beach. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Smoking areas are clearly marked and permitted near the Tiki Bar and parking garage.
• Before leaving the beach, we ask that you place all trash in garbage cans located at our beach entrance. We appreciate you keeping our beach beautiful.

We had the best stay! Room was clean the view was amazing! Some extra beach goodies left in closet and chairs on balcony was nice for us and the kids! Would stay again thank you for hosting us

We really enjoyed our stay! Great condo in a nice resort. Would definitely stay here again.One really small thing…the coffee maker needs replacing…it kept erroring out when using k cups. The display indicates k cup needle needs cleaning. ThanksTim

The unit was very clean, well stocked (we did cook quite a bit), plenty of room for my husband and I with our two boys. The view is to die for, so close to everything. Can’t wait to stay here again. The host was amazing, we didn’t arrive until the we hours of the morning and she was on stand by and made sure our check in went smoothly.
