There were broken shutters upstairs as well as in the dining area. Also… 2 chairs outside around the table had seat slats that were not screwed into the chair frame! We had to use beach towels to cover them. But the safest fault the house had was a set of glass doors opening to the patio and sea breeze that were not useable. So we could only experience half of that wonderful ocean breeze! That was a REAL SAD PROBLEM that should have been repaired. The kitchen and appliances were beautiful. The bathrooms were excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. A great location so sad we couldn’t open up the entire front. !!!

This property was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for our 6 kids and 2 little pups-very clean and exactly as advertised. Proximity to the beach and shopping and restaurants was excellent. And it is far enough into the peninsula to be away from crowds and noise and major foot traffic but close enough that anything we wanted to do was easy to get to. There were plenty of beach towels-chairs and toys to use—and the bikes in the garage were utilized more than once. On our last day we rode them down to the wedge and watched the big waves and surfers-it was so fun! I would def recommend this property and the hosts-they were easily assessable and ready with any questions I had!

The property was in a wonderful location and was a perfect size and layout for our family of 11. We rented bikes which was lots of fun, though the listing said in one place there was 1 beach cruiser, and in another place 4 bikes , therefore we rented too many because we weren’t sure which was accurate. We were a little disappointed though, about some cleanliness issues. Bathrooms and linens were clean enough that we were comfortable. The patio was terribly dirty with grease spills and smashed food. That was really disappointing. The floor of the home was quite dirty, and the kitchen cabinets were not as clean as they could be. There were broken shutters and the fans in the rooms were dusty and dirty. Unfortunately my son’s family wanted to use the trundle bed but it was so dirty (and not made up with bedding) that they could not put their little boy in there. It wouldn’t take much to make this home a perfect place to stay, because it is in an amazing location and we loved having the beach right there. One last thing, there was some mixed messaging on check in, we had requested early check in and at first it was denied, then when we were told we could check in early, it was too late to really take advantage of it.
