The stunning view is showcased by a glass wall and lanai overlooking Hana Bay.

Just eight miles away, the pools at Oheo Gulch (“seven pools”) offer great scenery and refreshing swimming in Haleakala National Park-Kipahulu. Hikers will enjoy a panoramic hike up through the bamboo forest to Waimoku Falls. The trails at Wainapanapa will bring you to fresh-water caves or take you along the coast to spectacular views where you can sometimes see humpback whales as you hike along the cliffs. We loved this studio apartment. We sat on the lanai every day overlooking the beautiful, secluded rocky beach. We honestly loved the view so much we did not want to leave.

Great location. There is only one bar/restaurant in town, so if you’re going for social life, this is not the place. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The deck is awesome. Would gladly return.

We live on Maui and have stayed in Hana many times, but never at the Hana Kai...and it definitely won't be our last time! From the moment you walk in and see the view right over the water, to the cute and clean decor, this place had it all. Not to mention it was fully stocked, even more than other places we've stayed at. I absolutely will return and recommend others to as well!
