Enjoy an Emerald Coast beach vacation in this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beachfront 4th-floor Sterling Sands Condo in Destin, Florida. What does it mean to vacation at Sterling Sands? Simple: expansive Gulf views, convenient access to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, nearby restaurants and retail options, a fitness center, crystal clear beachfront pool, relaxation, and sunsets on a spacious private balcony. This vacation is going to be so far from simple that you simply won’t believe it!
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area and primary bedroom complement the breathtaking turquoise water views from the large balcony situated center stage over the Gulf. The kitchen, living, and dining areas are aligned to invite space, comfort, and plenty of conversation, mostly about the truly unbelievable views of the Gulf waters and sugar-white sand as you escape to the Shore. The kitchen is accented with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and pantry space, and is stocked with small electrics and kitchenware. The living and dining areas feature a sofa and chairs, a flat-screen TV, a dining table that seats 4 with additional breakfast bar seating, and access to the balcony. The primary bedroom is adjacent to the living area and boasts beachfront views, a king-size bed, TV, an en suite, a full-size bathroom with a jetted tub, two vanity areas, and a large shower. Enjoy a large walk-in closet and private access to the condo’s large balcony. The serene guest bedroom features two twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and access to the hall bath. The hall bath includes a shower/tub combination and a single vanity. The living area offers additional bedding with a sleeper sofa. From the ground level, walk just steps to the resort’s refreshing pool, which sits just behind a small series of dunes. Then go beyond to the private beach access where the surf awaits. Great stay! Right on the beach and beautiful views! Walking distance the big kahuna water park. Only negative I have is you have to pay for beach chairs every day but other than that we loved it and definitely will be back!

This was perfect for a small group there were three adults two kids, right on the water so you didn't have to load stuff in a car and drag it to the beach just bring it down from your condo and step out onto the beach or the pool that is another awesome feature. I think the only downside was when the new renters upstairs came after a couple of days they decided it would be a good idea to move furniture late at night and in the morning when we was trying to sleep in.

Everything was OK, but just OK. A lot of rules which is fine, but the rules with the listing conflict with the rules of the building. For instance, the listing does not state that personal umbrellas are not allowed on the beach but signs on the property state they are not allowed at all for liability reasons. This is an inconvenience as people pack things for their vacation based on what is communicated to them. Additionally, many signs state no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property but we were forced to experience the aroma of marajuana from morning coffee to after dinner while on the patio. Didn’t care for that.Washer and dryer don’t seem to work well. Wash/rinse cycles don’t rinse well and the dryer takes an extremely long time to dry.The beach is overtaken by the rental service chairs and umbrellas. Maybe that’s how things are now everywhere but we did not expect that. Yes there was technically beach space between rows of rental chairs but no space available without looking directly at the back of another row of chairs.
