Welcome to Avalon IV, an AvantStay home! This home was featured on the Emmy award-winning TV show, Staycation!
Our open floorplan is great for entertaining. We hope you’re a fan of dinner parties! Head out to the deck to fire up a feast. If you’re feeling adventurous, Spruce Street Suspension Bridge and its killer views are only a 10-minute drive.
Nearby Attractions: Balboa Park, Seaport Village, San Diego Zoo, Spanish Village Art Center, Little Italy (Italian anyone?), San Diego Seaworld, Gaslamp Quarters (dining/shopping), Waterfront Park, Mission Brewery, Omnia Nightclub, The Morning After (breakfast), Lucha Libre Taco Shop, Biga (Italian), Coronado Golf Course, La Jolla Cove (30 min drive).

- This unit is located on the lower level (bottom) of the home. There is a separate unit located upstairs.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note: Stairs from the parking area are required to access the home.
- Please note, we do not allow shipping or deliveries of parcels to any of our properties since we do not have access to mailboxes, and cannot guarantee delivery, receipt, or protection of your items at the property.
- Any amplified sound that can be heard within 50 feet away from your residence is prohibited. This home has a noise ordinance time between 10 PM and 8 AM, meaning even a normal conversation must be moved to inside the home during these hours.
- There may be partial obstruction of the view from neighbors' trees.
- Cover photo is of the entire building complex from another unit's patio.
- Driveway may be difficult for low-graded vehicles to park. There is limited street parking in the area.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.
- Please note that there is a set of 10 stairs from the parking area to the unit entrance.
- Please be aware that the home is located on a steep hill if you plan on walking to the property.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Overall, our stay here was pleasant! It is conveniently located to multiple places in San Diego. There was plenty of space, towels, linens, dishes, etc. I would say for the price we paid, the place could have been cleaner. The floors probably need to be steamed cleaned at this point. The bathroom showers could have been cleaner. When we first came in, all I wanted to do is give it a good vacuum…The biggest issue for us was the parking. They’re four spots for the four condos, but two are at a slope that a minivan can’t park without hitting the bottom of the car. We thought we damaged our car. The parking spaces have a lot of evidence of people hitting the bottom of their cars. The jeep Cherokees visiting at the same time also tended to avoid those spots as the incline in the parking spot was a bit much.

Property was a great get away spot. Living room had a lot of space and patio was really nice.Only issue was steep driveway that literally scraped undercarriage of our car. Do not park in the driveway unless you have a SUV. Plenty of parking on the street.

Very lovely condo. Super clean and dully stocked with towels like a hotel. Comfy beds and cute patio. Great location to airport, Marine base (we came for a Graduation!), awesome food spots and a great vomedy club all right down the street. We had a great time. Also quiet neighborhood. Very safe and secure property. Thank you!
