The house wasn't fancy but nice. Perfect for a lake vacation.

My family and I enjoyed the stay away vacation with the amazing views. Did a lot of fishing and enjoyed swimming right off the dock. A nice little piece of paradise the host offers. Thank you!!

Location was perfect. Photos don't show just how large and amazing the backyard is. My dog (blue heeler) absolutely loved the yard and patio. My teenage kids were so happy to each have a room to themselves and not have to share on a vacation. The kitchen was the most stocked I have seen so far in a VRBO. Since its only a little over a hour from me, we will be going back again this summer.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location on the water is great, the cove is beautiful even with the lake being low, and we really enjoyed the patio and outdoor kitchen. The nightly rate also felt fair. However, there were several issues. When we arrived, the AC was set to 77, and it took until almost midnight for the house to cool to 72.We booked this house mainly because it advertised a boat lift. Before the cancellation deadline, we even confirmed with the host that it was usable. While the lift operated, one bunk board was broken, leaving exposed metal that could have damaged our boat, so we couldn’t safely use it. The boat ramp key also didn’t work, and we were fortunate the gate happened to be unlocked both times we needed it.The guest bathroom shower had a stripped cold-water faucet, so all six adults had to share one shower. The host did offer to fix it, but by then we’d already managed for two nights, and our guests had gone home before repairs could be made. The property could also use some maintenance. The landscaping around the patio is very overgrown, and there’s a large hole in front of the fire pit bench that I accidentally stepped into and fell.If everything in the house and at the dock were fully functional and the landscaping were maintained, this would easily be a 5-star property.
