An amazing boutique hotel in Hakone located right by the river. The rooms are stunning, and having a private onsen made the stay so relaxing. It's uncrowded, offering a very personal, warm, and delightful service. Also, the hotel contacted us a few days in advance to check our dietary preferences, which showed great attention to detail.

We loved the private open air Onsen in our room, the complimentary traditional attire to wear all around the hotel, the magnificent nature atmosphere around us and the exquisite dining experience.
It was all perfect, nothing to notify.

The staff was incredible!
Hotel should provide ability to purchase food at the restaurant even if you did not get the half or full board package.

I liked the private onsen. Some staff friendly helpful. Shuttle to station really good
Being told you have dinner and breakfast at a set time. Having no input on what was delivered. I liked Japanese traditional food but to have no alternative was extremely poor especially hot breakfast no fruit bread or pastries. No coffee or tea at breakfast. Also the hotel needs investment carpets warn items looking unkept. I would not stay again
