Studio was calm and relaxed. Four things that bugged me: 1. the Adirondack chairs on the patio are difficult to get out of if you are older 2. If the dresser were a chest of drawers there would be room for another armchair 3. The obvious place to get onto the porch has no steps! It’s quite a big step(12-14”). 4.There is no instruction booklet for the heater. Operating panel is on front in lower RH corner. All electronic buttons are black so hard to discern what’s what. But if you push enough of them, something will happen.In spite of these issues, it was a comfortable space and we enjoyed Smith River and Brookings OR.

We absolutely loved it here. Perfect for a getaway for two!My only complaint is the tile leading up to the bathroom is EXTREMELY slick. Both my husband and I slipped on it coming from the shower to the main room. He fell hard! Other than that it was perfect and we will definitely book again next time we come to Brookings!

Will start with the good. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Enjoyed the peek-a-boo ocean view. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. There is a microwave even though it doesn't show in the photos or description. Now for the challenging part. We had a terrible time getting the lock box for the key open. Really starting to think we were going to have to contact someone to even get in. They have removed the table and chairs in the photos and there is no where sit and eat. You could at least buy a cheap table and chairs at one of the thrift stores so there's a place to sit down and eat. Other than the challenges we enjoyed our quiet time there. There was no one staying upstairs so it might be a lots noisier if there were people up there.
