This oceanfront vacation rental home is "The Only Place" to vacation, located at Mile Post 4.5. When you open the front door and gaze through the neatly furnished living area into the bright blue of the Atlantic Ocean you will instantly know why this is "THE ONLY PLACE"! This home sits right on the beach with the best beach view in Kitty Hawk, an ocean view from nearly every room of the house. The large oceanfront deck is perfect to watch sunrises, enjoy the rolling surf throughout the day and view the stars at night. The stairs from the deck lead you right to the beach as well as the enclosed outside shower. Located just 11 miles from H2OBX Waterpark and 6 miles to the Wright Brothers National Memorial, but once you're here you may never want to leave!
Ground Level: Great room with ocean views, flat-screen TV/Blu-Ray DVD, electric fireplace and plenty of seating on the wrap around sofa. Recently remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops and even an ocean view while you wash dishes. The dining area seating 8 plus 2 tables on the deck. King Master Bedroom with private bathroom, Queen Master Bedroom with TV and private bathroom and a Bedroom with 2 Single Beds plus private bathroom.
Top Level: King Master Bedroom Suite with a full private bath and sitting area with TV.
Extras: 3 TVs, 2 Blu-ray players, high-speed internet access, washer/dryer, parking for 3 cars, crock pot, electric griddle, electric fireplace and an enclosed outside shower. No Smoking. NO PETS. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bathmat for each shower or tub.

As owner's of rental properties in OBX for several decades, my husband and I are very critical of the places we stay in. We thought The Only Place was spot on perfect! We cooked meals and had all the tools we needed. Sleeping accommodations were great- teens upstairs with their own space and us downstairs with ours. We all had showers when we wanted them due to four bathrooms. The layout of the house made perfect sense! And it was clean and beautifully decorated and updated. (Better than the photos!) Beach location was ideal. We saw dolphins everyday, a whale, surfers, and stepped out onto the sand with ease. Easily the best beach property we have stayed in yet!

The Only Place is a lovely property with access to the beach right out your back door. This was our first visit and the experience was wonderful. Thank you for making our first beach visit with the kids so nice.
