Ground Floor
Heading through the main entrance of Melbourne House leads you into the kitchen/breakfast room. Fitted out with retro-style metal units made from recycled spitfires and with vibrant red worktops and painted beams this characterful and utterly unique kitchen is a real talking point! The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The kitchen leads to a useful boot room, great for bags, coats and outdoor gear and beyond to
the sitting/dining room.

This cosy, dual-aspect room with traditional slate, flagstone floor enjoys views over the pretty cottage garden. Comfortable seating for 6 is arranged around the large log-burning stove, guaranteed to warm even the coldest of toes on a brisk Lake District evening. Here you’ll find everything you need for cosy nights in including a Smart TV, DVD player, WiFi a selection of books and DVDs.

Completing the room, a dining table for 6 in front of the large window makes for a perfect setting for a heart evening meal after a day filled with Lake District adventure.
