Located near the traditional town of Spili and just 20 km from Rethymno, Patsos offers an authentic Cretan experience surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy a coffee or traditional meal in the tranquil village square, shaded by trees.Nearby, you'll find other scenic villages such as Karines, Pantanassa, and Gerakari, each offering its own unique charm.



Just 2 km from the village lies the stunning Patsos Gorge—a hidden gem that’s perfect for nature lovers. This lush gorge, often described as a natural botanical garden, can be crossed in about two hours and is accessible almost year-round. The trail is relatively easy, with numerous springs feeding the vibrant vegetation, eventually flowing into the Potamoi Dam and its peaceful lake.
