Located on Trinidad Bay, Luffenholtz Beach Studio is a large fully furnished studio apartment located just steps from beautiful Luffenholtz Beach and the spectacular coastal views from Tepona Point. The scenic and rocky Trinidad coast is one of the most spectacular and pristine segments of the California coast. We invite you to experience the dramatic landscapes of Luffenholtz Beach, explore the tide pools at nearby Baker Beach, or enjoy the dramatic ocean vistas from nearby Houda Point, a popular beach for surfers, painters, and bird watchers. At the end of the day, you can relax at the creek side patio, or enjoy a glass of wine sitting in two Adirondack chairs overlooking Luffenholtz Cove and the Pacific Ocean while enjoying the sunset. Located just 2 miles north is the quaint seaside village of Trinidad, with restaurants, shops, and galleries. The Redwood Coast Airport is less than 10 minutes away. The 642 sq ft studio apartment is very private and is surrounded by lush mature gardens. Located above our garage, it has a queen size bed, cable TV, WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with tub and shower. There is an outdoor deck with views of the forest and two comfortable chairs.

This property/home is really such an oasis. Tom has made his acres into a lush labyrinth of thoughtfully designed paths with small alcoves here and there. The gardens are so beautifully done — such evident care, consideration etc. Impressive and worth spending some time enjoying in between the other lovely things to do in the area. Picnic, read, unplug. Sun, ocean, shady brook, garden pergola. Lots of options.The studio itself was thoughtfully appointed and the balcony felt very private and secluded. I thought the owners had a good sense of a balance between being accessible and unobtrusive. Part of that is the way the studio is set up — again, very thoughtfully.We had a very relaxing, rejuvenating time there — stayed 5 nights! Could have done more.

The house was clean, bright and airy. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Little Lucy, their dog, is a sweetheart! The place is close to several beaches and downtown Trinidad. Truly enjoyed our stay!

All exceeded our expectations. The setting is like a botanic garden, and the hosts are very gracious in welcoming guests to explore the property. Seating is strategically placed to take advantage of ocean views and solitude amongst the flowers. Beach access is across the street, with accessible beaches within a mile. The proximity to Trinidad and surrounding restaurants made coffee, breakfast, or an evening out simple. The studio itself was cozy and clean, with all of the amenities that we needed, as well as extras such as robes and a fresh package of coffee. Clearly a good deal of care was invested in creating a well-appointed space that would be enjoyed by guests.
