Beachwood Place is an amazing ocean-front beach retreat with a great pool and only steps to the ocean. Belle Ile is like you are in a treehouse with views of the ocean! A great open floor plan with plenty of room to lounge and relax. This fantastic villa includes a fully stocked kitchen, bar seating, a large living room with plenty of seating, 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. The living room and both bedrooms have smart TVs. The moment you step inside Belle, it's like a calming relaxation where you can relax! What truly makes this Villa so special is the ability to enjoy the spectacular sunrises while relaxing on your own private balcony that overlooks trees and nature. And you are just steps away from the pool and the beach!
Beachwood Place is a gated complex with only 24 units, a private pool that has an abundance of chairs, tables, umbrellas, and a BBQ area. It also features bike racks, chairs, an elevator, a washer & dryer on two floors (not in the unit) including on the same floor as Belle Ile, and private beach access. This Villa is located in the heart of the South Forest Beach/Coligny area close to many local restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and the brand new park, Lowcountry Celebration Park! You are within 5 min walk of all of this. The best way to enjoy Hilton Head is by bike. There are so many paths to explore! You can rent bikes from a number of bike rental companies that can deliver directly to Beachwood Place. Hilton Head has something for everyone, whether it’s basking in the sun or searching for wildlife!

The hosts are excellent commentators. The beach was beautiful. The swimming pool was a bit unkept. The master suite was nice but the bathroom was on the smaller side. The master bed was comfortable. The second bedroom could sleep at least 3 kids. There’s a mattress stowed under the bunk bed. The bathroom for the kids was adequate and the shower was a detachable shower head. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The living room was a cozy space. There were paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and some dishwasher detergent. One set of towels per a family of four - bring extra if you don’t want to do laundry - especially face cloths. The kitchen was provided with one towel and one wash cloth. I recommend you bring more if you plan to eat in. I recommend: one box of Kleenex, an extra roll of toilet paper, plastic wrap, ziplock baggies, aluminum wrap. They do give you some small bottles of shampoo and conditioner with 2 small dove soaps. The washer and dryer are on the same floor. Laundry baskets are provided in the closets. There were about 8 hangers in the closets total-bring extra if you want to hang clothes. This was a good space for two people. It might house a couple with small children but beyond that, it will be tight. Overall, this is a nice property. It’s not beachfront though. You can see the ocean off the balcony around the side of the house. There was ample parking which is protected by a gate with an entrance code.

The condo was so conveniently located, it was great being in walking distance of Coligny Plaza. The hosts were very responsive and we would rent it again for sure.

The space was very clean and comfortable! The chlorine odor was somewhat overwhelming and took a few days to resolve. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and utensils. You will need to purchase extra dishwasher soap if you run the dishwasher more than twice. You will also need to purchase tissues(we left some for the next visitors), laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. There is no change machine in the laundry so get your quarters ahead of time. You can just see the beach from the balcony. It’s very pleasant to sit on the balcony! You’re in the trees. The beach is 5 minute walk. We walked the beach almost everyday. It was too cold for us to go in the ocean but the location will be great in the warm weather. The pool is very convenient to the condo and will be great when it’s warmer. Better information regarding how to exit the parking lot would have been helpful. You have to drive right up to the gate so the sensors will detect your car. The gate will then slowly open. Overall, this vrbo fit our needs.
