With a view of the Seine and direct access to the riverside walking path (a former towpath), you’ll find yourself immersed in the heart of the places beloved and painted by the Impressionists, and can take a stroll to discover the famous Maison Fournaise on the Île des Impressionnistes or the Musée de la Grenouillère.
And for golf enthusiasts, there’s a golf course on the Île des Impressionnistes right across from the house.
The house is located in Carrières-sur-Seine, whose picturesque old village is also a must-see, with its medieval ruins, cave dwellings, and authentic washhouse—now an exhibition and meeting space for local artists.
