7/10 – Great location and amenities, but a few maintenance issuesOverall we had a good time and the location was fantastic for a Port Aransas beach getaway. The pool was a nice touch, beach access was easy and convenient, and the space worked really well for our group. That said, a few issues kept this from being a top-tier stay.What we loved:•Pool was a great bonus for downtime•Easy, close access to the beach•Layout and space worked well for our groupRoom for improvement:•Safety concern: No smoke detector on the main floor — this should really be addressed for future guests.•Pest issue: We dealt with an ant problem during our stay.•Kitchen: The oven was broken and unusable, which limited our ability to cook.•Cleanliness: The place could have been cleaned more thoroughly before check-in. Like swept and wiped down better. We made the best of things and didn’t allow it to ruin the overall trip. We’d consider staying again if these items get fixed — but they’re worth flagging so the host can improve things for future guests.

I recently stayed at this property, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. To begin with, the property was falsely advertised. The listing promised a game room and a jetted tub, neither of which exist. This felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead potential renters.
To make matters worse, two of the televisions didn't work. When I brought this to the attention of the property owner/manager, their response was snarky and unhelpful, making the situation even more frustrating.
Cleanliness was another major issue. I found a previous visitor's socks under the couch and coke cans under the bed. This lack of attention to basic cleanliness is unacceptable.
Overall, this property is nice but his sarcastic remarks to solve issues was a huge letdown. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. We had to ignore the issues and lack of professionalism in order to enjoy our stay.
