Enjoy this cozy, 2 bedroom Sandia Heights home. On corner lot, with quiet and tranquil surroundings. Experience the serenity of the natural, high desert landscape; and appreciate the wildlife that visits you from the nearby arroyo. This property has Southwestern solitude, yet the amenities of a metropolitan city, and Albuquerque's diverse culture. From the comfort of your living room's leather recliners, you can view the Sandia Mountains; and see the entire length of the world's longest Tram. Or use the telescope or binoculars for stargazing or birdwatching. Experience the 'watermelon' sunset hues, while grilling and dining on the outdoor patio. Spend time on the swing with your children/grandchildren (when they are not enjoying the nearby playground and park). Or just relax with a margarita or cerveza.
You will be 5 minutes from the Sandia Peak Tram, and 10 minutes from the Sandia Resort & Casino (golf, dining, gambling, dancing, entertainment). The Tram is easy access to the 'back side' of Sandia Peak, for winter skiing and summer mountain biking. Sandia Heights is an epicenter for 'outdoor' living. Extensive biking/jogging/blading trail just steps away, with 2 BICYCLES and HELMETS PROVIDED (can provide additional bikes if needed). Property sits in middle of a hiker's paradise, with some of the favorite trails 5-10 minutes from your doorstep (La Luz Trail, Tramway Loop, Elena Gallegos Nature Trail, Pino, Domingo Baca, and Piedra Lisa Canyon). This is a beautiful home in an impossibly beautiful setting. The backyard is filled with wildlife all day long; it looks like a Disney movie. The house is furnished with Southwest art, and the cleanliness and attention to detail is incredible. From the luxurious linen to the fully stocked kitchen and comfortable chairs and beds, it has everything you need for total relaxation and comfort. Beverly is an incredibly gracious host; she welcomed us with snacks and drinks, filled us in on all the local attractions and restaurants, and was available anytime we had questions. This is a 5-star home; we will be back.

What an amazing property! We’ve stayed in VRBO properties for years, in several countries. So comfortable - beds were awesome, great livability. Everything we could want, from kitchen utensils to TV’s to local restaurant menus to sightseeing recommendations. Wildlife in the backyard and fabulous bird watching. AND our cat was welcome! Hosts were extremely responsive - usually within 15 mins.If we go back to Albuquerque we will for sure try to book this property!

Excellent location views of mountains spectacular back yard with deer hanging out and drinking and eating.Host Beverly extremely helpful with places to go ,see, and eat
