Way to city takes some time because of traffic.

I like the environment of the hotel and the room are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The check in staffs are very polite and I really appreciated the help from one of the check in staff Suk Yin as when she heard that my flight was delayed, she offered to extend my check out time to 2pm and we can really slept for a short while as the previous night we don't have a good sleep as in different bed.

Beautiful Hotel, But Not Quite Luxury Yet Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur was a bit of a mixed experience. First, the positives: the hotel itself is extremely beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Our suite was huge, spacious, and very well appointed, with everything you would expect from a high-end apartment. The design is impressive, and the location is also good — far enough removed from the main city to feel a little more relaxed, but still close enough to easily explore Kuala Lumpur. The staff were consistently pleasant, happy, and kind, which we really appreciated. However, while the hotel looks and feels luxurious in many respects, the service currently doesn’t quite match the expectations of a luxury hotel. We didn’t receive a single meal that didn’t have some sort of issue, and even ordering something as simple as a coffee in the main café seemed unnecessarily difficult. A basic gin and tonic also proved surprisingly difficult to get right. We attempted to order drinks from the lobby to our room, but unfortunately, they never arrived. Housekeeping was another issue. On two occasions our room wasn’t cleaned despite us specifically requesting it, and overall, many things simply seemed to take a very long time. We understand that the hotel is new, and at times it genuinely felt as though they were understaffed or still finding their rhythm. One example was the pool: at 7:30pm, we were unable to swim because the pool closed at 8pm and staff were reluctant to let us in. There is also a pool bar advertised, but during our stay there was no pool bar operating. There is a lot of potential here. In fact, the hotel itself is beautiful enough that it feels like it could eventually become a fantastic luxury property. However, there is currently a noticeable gap between the beautiful presentation and the level of service being delivered. Some of the images and marketing also appear to set an expectation that the actual experience doesn’t yet fully meet.
